3 PORT is a SME with years of tradition in developing software solutions adjusted to specific user needs. Since 2013 the company is specialized in digital solutions working especially in the development and management of IoT applications, smart sensors and industry 4.0 solutions like:Machine monitoring: real-time machine monitorning with custom reports, alarms, dashboards (digital twin) and history charts for each machine in the production line. This solution allows machines and sensors with different comunication and control protocols to comunicate with each other and provide normalized data which can be used in the decision-making process.Energy mangement systems: thanks to the cooperation with a major player in the HEMS business, we have developed an embedded system to monitor the energy workflow in buildings and houses where standard electric grid, solar panels and batteries are involved.Sensors: real time environment monitoring providing insights regarding the quality of air by measuring different parameters like radon, CO2, VOC, O2, humidity, temperature and air pressure.These solutions allow the creation of a “smart” ecosystem, which permits the creation of new business models (pay-per-use, predicitive maintenance, etc.) and a differentiation from competitors in each market segment. At the same time, being able to offer products in line with the 4.0 philosophy grants access to the financial incentives which many goverments in different countries are providing for new technologies. With its IoT cloud platform (SMIP Cloud) and edge gateway (SMIP Agent) for securely connecting IoT devices with SMIP cloud or other cloud it can offer specific software solutions for managing data in real time and gateway solutions for connecting “things”.The company is now looking for hardware and sensor producers and system integrators to develop new lines of solutions which address their specific products and needs, tailored on partners’ requests.
