At Bates Product Design we strive to ensure that everything we design is as environmentally conscious as possible. We do this by using sustainable materials, reducing reject parts (by utilising good product design), ensuring a products life is as long as possible, reducing part weight for shipping, ensuring an efficient manufacturing network and many other methods. At Bates Product Design we help our clients get from idea to products on shelves in a cost and time efficient manner. We offer a tailored experience for each of our clients, but in general:We start exploring the concept and ensuring that the initial concepts capture all the user and company requirements and even expand your target market where possible. We make concept renders of how the product may look, be manufactured, and be interacted with.We then turn the concept into a 3D CAD model which can be viewed digitally through your online browser, testing different colours, designs and ensuring that you get an accurate visualisation of the end product.We then turn that CAD into a physical 3D prototype so both you and your end customer can test the product and ensure that it meets all the requirements. Testing can then be carried out by both our engineers and your potential customers.Once the prototype is approved, we will then make all engineering files for manufacture, source reliable supply chains and get the products delivered to your door. Once arrived we will test the products against our pre-specified criteria to ensure that they are up to standard. We also offer additional assistance for many accessory services including packaging design, IP protection (patent, design registration and more), shipping logistics, business planning, app design, software engineering and much more.
