What is Click Fraud and How Do You Prevent It?

Click fraud is a dishonest practice wherein someone or an automated program attempts to generate profit or some other advantage by clicking ads. To prevent click fraud, advertisers should use automated tools to detect fraudulent activity by recognizing certain patterns, regularly analyze and review their ad campaigns, and use filtration techniques to identify and block such activities. Additionally, advertisers should create different accounts for each ad campaign, use IP-FP (IP Fingerprint) tracking, and monitor and review traffic sources.
